Sixth grade students recently read informational texts on the Alaskan Serum Run of 1925. They then worked in small groups to create news segments from the 1925 perspective on weather, sports, human interest, animal interest, health and traffic reports related to the event. Their creativity and collaborative spirits had a chance to shine!
