Attention Seniors: In order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony, seniors must meet all graduation requirements and wear the cap and gown representative of Shawnee High School. You may not participate in the ceremony without a cap and gown. The deadline to order is April 4th. See Mrs. Hershberger in the West Office if you have any questions. There will be a Senior Class meeting on Tuesday in the Auditorium during Connections. An announcement will be made to dismiss Seniors to the auditorium for the meeting.
Congratulations to Daniel Schiel II, for placing third in the Lima Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest yesterday. Congratulations to Alex Karapondo for her first place finish in the Lima Rotary 4-Way Speech Contest yesterday. Both seniors impressively represented Shawnee High School. Way to go!
If you ordered a MayDaze shirt please see Ms. Griffo in Rm. 125 to pick it up. Passes to class will not be written.
The next Red Cross meeting will be on Wednesday, at the West Ohio Food Bank from 4-6 PM.
On Tuesday, a representative from Herff-Jones will be in front of the auditorium during lunch periods for anyone interested in ordering a class ring. A $200 deposit is due with all orders. Order packets are available in the West Office.
Today wraps up Music in Our Schools Week. Congratulations to the winner of Thursday’s trivia question, “What Big Ten University shares a fight song with Shawnee?” Pauly Caris was the first to answer correctly with “University of Wisconsin”. Please see Mrs. Rigali in the East Office for your prize. Today’s question is: “What instrument did Mr. Morris and Mrs. McGuire play in school?” Submit your guess using the form in grade level Google classrooms.
